The prize was awarded to Ms. Elena VACCHI (1990) of the Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale - EOC in Bellinzona for her research work on the Parkinson's disease entitled " Immune profiling of plasma-derived extracellular vesicles identifies Parkinson's disease " published in Neurology : Neuroimmunology and Neuroinflammation in August 2020.

  •  Dr Luca Liberale

The prize was awarded to Dr Luca LIBERALE (1987) of the University of Zürich for his research work on the atherosclerotic plaque inflammation entitled “ Resistin exerts a beneficial role in atherosclerotic plaque inflammation by inhibiting neutrophil migration” published in the International Journal of Cardiology in July 2018.

  •  Dr Christian Barro

The prize was awarded to Dr Christian BARRO (1990) of the University Hospital Basel for his research work on the multiple sclerosis entitled "Serum neurofilament as a predictor of disease worsening and brain and spinal cord atrophy in multiple sclerosis" published in the journal of neurology Brain in May 2018.
